Lara Oms

Associate Veterinarian

Central Broward Animal Hospital Family Team Member Since 2004

Dr. Oms and her husband, Blendi, share their home with their beautiful daughter, Alexandra, who already shows a deep love for animals and even bottle-fed one of their cats. Dr. Oms dreams that Alexandra will one day follow in her footsteps to become a veterinarian. Their family is completed by a lively group of rescue pets, each with a special story. Little Boy Josh, a 5-year-old long-haired Chihuahua, was a gift from one of the clinic’s long-term clients and quickly became part of the family. Lacey, a 7-year-old black cat who started as a foster, quickly became part of the family due to her loving nature. Blue, a silly and playful gray cat, was found in the parking lot one day and followed Shenard into the clinic. Lily, a shy 2-year-old gray tabby with a gentle soul, was bottle-fed by Alexandra and is now a cherished member of their home. Together, these pets bring endless love and joy to Dr. Oms’ life, inspiring her every day in her work as a veterinarian.
