Dr. Mullerman

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Mullerman’s journey to veterinary medicine began in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and took her across the Atlantic to the United States in 2013. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Creative Writing at Stony Brook University, and worked at a small animal practice in Brooklyn, NY, before getting her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. Dr. Mullerman’s professional interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and education — she loves helping others learn to care for pets with confidence.

At home, Dr. Mullerman shares life with her husband and her American Cocker Spaniel, Persik, who made the journey with her from Ukraine and has since earned his “honorary veterinary degree” for his emotional support throughout veterinary school. When she’s not in the hospital, Dr. M can often be found trying out new Mediterranean recipes, attending live comedy shows, and learning new skills. Now settling into South Florida, Dr. M is excited to explore the region’s rich cultural mix and connect with the community. Fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, she looks forward to working with families from diverse backgrounds. Her philosophy as a veterinarian is equal parts compassion, practicality, and humor—because she knows that caring for pets (and their humans) works best when everyone feels comfortable, supported, and maybe even a little entertained.
